PROFILE

Dr. Samuel Kwadwo Frimpong is an educationist, an economist, a Charted Management Consultant, a Charted Professional Administration Consultant, and a philanthropist.

Education : Dr. Frimpong is a Charted Management Consultant and Charted Professional Administration Consultant from Charted Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants – Ghana. He holds a Doctorate in Industrial Economics (International Business Strategy option) on Chinese scholarship (Distinguished students scholarship) awarded to him as the best international student for 2010 batch Masters level. He also holds Masters in Business Administration – MBA, all from the Wuhan University of Technology, China. He holds an Executive Masters in Development Policies and Practices from The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID), Geneva, Switzerland. He holds Postgraduate Certificate in Public Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), an Advanced Certificate in Project Management from the Pan-African Institute for Leadership and Governance Studies, and a BSc in Agricultural Technology (Agric Economics) from the University for Development Studies, Tamale – Ghana. To his credit, he has twenty-one (21) researched paper publications within the fields of Management, Business Administration, Economics, and Investment, all published in International Journals and conference proceedings.

Humanitarian Activities: Dr. Frimpong is the Executive Director of Aliu Mahama Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization established by Ghana’s late vice president, H.E Alhaji Aliu Mahama. The foundation’s primary focus is to improve general discipline in Ghanaian society for future generations with a vision is to enhance the Ghanaian people’s socio-economic well-being and productivity through advocacy, research, and collaborative knowledge.

He founded the RoyalAid Foundation to transform the lives of people and communities by investing in health, local solutions, strengthening leadership, and building movements. RoyalAid Foundation supports men’s positive involvement in addressing policies that perpetuate gender inequalities.

Leadership: He was the President of China Trained Ghanaian Professionals, the Chairman of the Amedzofe Development Association’s welfare committee, the Chairman of Project Committee of Amedzofe Community, and the Financial Secretary Amedzofe Development Association. Dr. Frimpong was the National President of the National Union of Ghana Students – China Branch (NUGS-China) 2010/2011 academic year; before then, he was the President of the Wuhan branch of the union. He was also the President of the International Culture Exchange Association (ICEA) of Wuhan University of Technology, China.

Profession: Dr S.K Frimpong is currently a Technical Economic Advisor to the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana. During President Agyekum Kuffuor led administration, Dr Frimpong served as Administrative Liaison Officer in the President’s Office. Due to his Genuity, eloquence, and ability to “walk people across the bridge,” Dr Frimpong served as the Special Aide and Spokesperson for the Former Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. The late Alhaji Aliu Mahama.
